Welcome to AMC, my humble home on the web where I can express myself freely and talk about whatever it may be that’s on my mind when I’m writing. My name is Lilly Parker, and I have been a music fanatic for years. I love digging through the endless songs out there and finding the latest and the greatest to share with my friends and listen to myself when I’m feeling like kicking back.
I’m also a writer at heart. It was something I always enjoyed as a kid, writing stories, and fantasies. I had a dream of becoming a writer when I grew up, but like so many of us, I realized that I just didn’t have what it takes to dedicate myself to the tough and challenging lifestyle that being a writer demands. So I went to a good college, worked towards finishing a sought-after degree, and found myself a good paying job so that I can pay the bills. The love of music and writing never did fade away though.
So here I am, blogging about whatever comes to mind on my spare time here at AMC. Yes, I’m half Armenian, but you wouldn’t know it from my name. My dad is 100% American and completely proud of it, so that’s where the name comes from. My mom did always stress the importance of maintaining our culture though, and I think that’s part of what makes my opinions and points of view interesting. Hopefully you find them interesting as well.
